Attorney Aaron Sachs is deeply committed to making a positive impact in his community, and one of the charities close to his heart is the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. With a mission to advocate for the welfare and well-being of animals, this organization plays a vital role in rescuing and providing care for abandoned or mistreated animals. By partnering with the Humane Society, Aaron Sachs actively supports their efforts to find loving homes for these animals, promote responsible pet ownership, and raise awareness about animal welfare issues. Mission: The mission of the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri is to aid in the alleviation of distress and suffering of animals by operating a shelter for animals in need of care, placing animals in suitable homes, and offering educational programs that promote animal welfare.

They operate the largest NO Kill shelter in Southwest Missouri.

Over the years, thousands of homeless dogs and cats have found refuge at the Humane Society, where great effort was made to find them new families. Still today, we receive no monetary help from federal, state, or local government agencies, nor do we receive funds from other humane societies.

You can help give animals a second chance at a permanent home by making a donation. All donations will be used to provide shelter, food, and medical care for the thousands of animals that enter our shelter each year.​
