Safety Tips for Halloween: Track-Or-Treat with Attorney Will Sachs at Hammons Field and the Springfield Cardinals

October is not just about the crisp air, beautiful fall foliage, and pumpkin-spiced delights. It’s also about Halloween and the joy of trick-or-treating. For the 4th consecutive year, Aaron Sachs & Associates, a local personal injury law firm, is excited to collaborate with the Springfield Cardinals at Hammons Field for the Track-Or-Treat event.

Safety Tips for Halloween

Safety first! Halloween is a night of fun and frights, but it's crucial to ensure it’s safe for our little goblins and witches. Here are a few safety tips:

  • Costume Safety:
    • Opt for bright and reflective costumes to be visible.
    • Ensure costumes are flame-resistant.
    • Make sure masks, shoes, and costumes fit well to prevent trips and falls.
  • Trick-or-Treating Tips:
    • Always walk on sidewalks or pathways.
    • Only cross streets at designated crosswalks.
    • Avoid dark alleys and unfamiliar areas.
    • Always have adult supervision.
  • Candy Safety:
    • Always inspect candy before consuming.
    • Discard any unwrapped or suspicious-looking treats.
    • Remember to be allergy-aware!

What to Expect at the Track-Or-Treat Event

On Friday, October 27th, from 4-9PM, ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses will gather around Hammons Field:

  • Trick-or-Treat Trail: Walk around the warning track and Homer's Landing. At each stop, collect candies from uniquely decorated booths.
  • Pumpkin Patch: A highlight for many, children can pick out their favorite pumpkin before exiting.
  • Fun & Music: The Springfield Cardinals promise a lively atmosphere with Halloween-themed fun and catchy tunes on the jumbotron.

We're delighted that our free event has tripled in attendance since the inaugural Track or Treat in 2020. The community's response has been phenomenal, and it's evident in the excitement each year brings.

Conclusion and Invitation

Aaron Sachs & Associates is not just a personal injury law firm. We are an integral part of the community and are proud to make events like these possible.
