Michelle Voss - Attorney

Michelle graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  She was a Huggins Scholar throughout her undergraduate education and served as a Senator for the Missouri Student’s Association from 1988-1989.  She also served as Recording Secretary, Vice President, and was on the Leader’s Council of Alpha Omicron Pi, and actively supported the Arthritis Research Foundation and Adopt A Highway Program as a volunteer.

Michelle then earned her Juris Doctorate degree  from the University of Tulsa – College of Law in 1995 and graduated with Honors – Order of the Curule Chair in the top 7% of her class.  She served on the Tulsa Law Journal from 1993 to 1995, with the distinction of Notes & Comments Editor from 1994 to 1995.  She also served on the Student Bar Association, the Women’s Law Caucus, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi.

In 1995, Michelle was admitted to the Missouri Bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.  From 1995 to 1997, she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, and in 1999, she was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.

Michelle has been in private practice since 1997 and joined Aaron Sachs & Associates, P.C. in 2012. She is a current member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Bar Association.  She enjoys camping, water skiing, travel, and is an active volunteer at her children’s school, serving as Vice President and President of the Home & School Association from 2009-2011.
