What can I do to preserve evidence?

The days immediately following an accident are often the most important for finding and preserving evidence – and documenting your injuries.

Take photos of the cars, the accident scene, and your injuries as soon as possible so that they will accurately represent the condition of the evidence immediately after the accident.

Make notes about the accident as soon as possible. Also, keep a log or journal regarding details of your injuries and their effect on your daily life. Having notes to remind you of all the details of what happened, and what you went through, is far easier and more accurate than relying on your memory.
