How can I prove what my car is worth?

A car's worth is equal to the price it would bring on the open market. This price is determined by comparing your car to the current sale price of cars in your area of the same year, make and mileage. Many people refer to the NADA Blue Book which lists the general value of different types of autos by year and model. Also, your local classified section will list various cars for sale and include proposed sale prices.
