Emily Blinzig- Attorney

Emily graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in International and Latin American Studies and a minor in Anthropology. She was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and co-chair of the Anthropology Society.

Emily then earned a Juris Doctorate of Law from University of Tulsa in 2012. While attending the university, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and alumni chair for the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She also served as judicial intern for Judge Morrissey at the Tulsa County District Court.

From 2013-2014, Emily was a trial attorney for the Missouri State Public Defender. She first-chaired nine bench trials and second-chaired 4 jury trials. Before joining Aaron Sachs and Associates in December 2016, Emily worked in a private practice focusing on personal injury and also worked as an insurance agent in Missouri for USAA and in Oklahoma for Hartford Insurance.

While she was a student, Emily volunteered for the Tulsa Animal Shelter and the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals. She currently volunteers for the CARE rescue in Springfield. In her free time, Emily enjoys taking her dogs Kiko and Chloe on road trips and adventures in nature.
